Summary:

• The Community Liaison is responsible for the development and management of the overall marketing and external education activities.
• The Community Liaison is responsible for maintaining a positive image through effective planning, programs, education, community events, to assist in meeting hospital census, rate and mix budget goals.
• The Community Liaison is responsible for the development and implementation of the referral relations programs including physician, managed care organizations, case managers and discharge planners.
• Utilizes sales techniques such as cold calling and contact planning.
• Monitors activities through call logs (activity logs) and profiling of customers is essential for this position.
• Coordinates creation and dissemination of education materials such as outcome studies, brochures and other materials deemed necessary.
• Approves or carries out all tours/visits to BridgePoint Hospitals to increase education level of guests.
• Initiates and approves all requests for exhibiting at any conference or event as well as in-service/presentations healthcare providers and the community to ensure education is geared to appropriate target audiences and maintained within the budget.
• Assists and identifies the need for the development of new programs.
• Accompanies Clinical Liaisons in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a BS prepared, trained professional or HS Diploma with 5 years relevant experience in lieu of advanced degree . Marketing experience preferred. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of hospital staff, physicians, and patient referral sources a must.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Using independent judgment and discretion, the Clinical Liaison must be a trained and licensed/certified health care professional (RN, LPN, RT or other allied health may be considered depending on prior LTAC or comparable experience). Experience with critical care, trauma, or other specialty setting is preferred. Marketing experience preferred
